“MAM TAK SAMO” is a social and educational campaign aimed at high school students. Its goal is to counteract growing intercultural tensions among young Poles and Ukrainians.

By engaging high school students in the project, the campaign promotes their active participation in social life. It takes the form of a multimedia educational program, promoted on social media (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube). We have also created innovative teaching materials for teachers to use during homeroom lessons or civic education classes in schools.

The campaign aims to eliminate tensions and encourage students to undertake intercultural projects. Through light yet thoroughly prepared content, we highlight the cultural similarities and differences between students from Poland and Ukraine, and we also show the challenges of their daily lives. Dividing people into ‘better’ and ‘worse’ leads nowhere. Diversity can enrich, not divide. The path to coexistence is the recognition and acceptance of differences. We want to showcase the needs of young people from both nations and convince them that school is a good place to discuss difficult topics.

Why the campaign?

Misunderstanding between the neighboring nations of Poland and Ukraine does not foster peace and security in Europe. That is why we decided to launch a campaign aimed at accepting differences and building friendship between our nations.
