About the project
We also remember those who are fighting in Ukraine. We help the most affected by this war – children and the families of fallen and wounded Ukrainian soldiers – by supporting the organization of respite stays.
Initially held in Małe Ciche, and since 2024 at the Caritas center in Zamłynie, Ukraine. During a week-long respite stay for children we organize trips to the mountains or the forest, art and creative activities and hippotherapy sessions. All of this is meant to give them a break from their difficult reality, bring moments of joy, and provide an opportunity to meet others in similar circumstances with whom they later maintain mutually supportive relationships. The program staff consists of Ukrainian educators and psychologists.
